We don’t have our own DMarket code or referral link, so there is no DAKEbits promo code here; the button opens dmarket.com. DMarket is a skin marketplace for CS2, Dota 2, Team Fortress 2 and Rust: players sell skins to each other, trade with the site’s bots and cash out to PayPal, Payoneer, Skrill or a bank. It has been part of Mythical Games since January 2023. We read its public pages on 22 October 2026.
What DMarket gives without a code
No sign-up bonus or free balance. Its giveaways page, dmarket.com/promo, runs five daily CS2 skin giveaways (Monday to Friday) and a weekly one, prize pool up to $50: Gleam tasks earn entries, a random participant with at least one entry wins, and the skin is credited to the winner’s DMarket inventory at the start of the next week. The home page also advertises a Pick’em Challenge for IEM Cologne 2026, “Make predictions & win prizes”. Sellers get “Promo for Sellers”: 2% selling fees on high-demand items, marked with a fire icon, listed at the pre-set recommended price.
How promo codes work at DMarket
People search for a DMarket promo code, redeem code or referral code. On 22 October 2026 its public pages showed no promo-code box for buyers, and the FAQ has no entry on codes. What DMarket has is an affiliate programme that works through links:
- Who gets paid. Any user can turn it on under their avatar and gets a link. DMarket pays the affiliate 20% of its own income from each sale and exchange made by people who came through the link. No page names a discount, bonus or free skin for the person referred.
- Limits. A referred account counts for 180 days, earns nothing if it only buys (buyers pay no fee), and drops out if it starts its own affiliate programme. Hot-fee items are excluded.
- Old codes. A 2018 blog page gave a free CS:GO skin for a promocode, and the Black Friday sale of 2021 gave one free-skin code per account for $20 of purchases. The first-deposit promo Bonus Blast is marked as ended. None of them names a code that works today.
So a “DMarket promo code for free skins” offered elsewhere has no backing on DMarket’s own pages.
What DMarket offers
- Four games. 1 million+ CS2 skins, 250 thousand+ TF2 items, 70 thousand+ Dota 2 items and 30 thousand+ Rust skins, by the home page, plus “More games” such as Life Beyond.
- Market, Trade and Targets. Buy listed items for US dollars, swap your skins against the bots’ stock (the difference goes to or from your balance), or set a Target: a buy order at your price that fills itself when a matching skin is listed, down to a float or pattern.
- Face2Face. A beta mode where the skin stays in the seller’s Steam inventory and the trade offer goes straight between the two players. It needs a Steam API key and the DMarket app.
- Tools. A Trading API, iOS and Android apps, ten languages. DMarket says its offers go up to 50% below Steam prices.
DMarket fees
- Selling to the market: 2% on liquid CS2 skins and up to 10% on low-priced or low-liquidity ones, some items 1%; 5% on Dota 2, TF2 and Rust items. Hot fees: 2% at the recommended price.
- Exchange: 2.5% on CS2, 2% on the other games. Face2Face sales: 4%.
- Buying: no fee on storefront purchases. The terms cap any fee at 10% and don’t refund fees.
- Penalties: a buyer who doesn’t finish a Face2Face trade within 12 hours loses 2% of the price to the seller; a seller who doesn’t send within 12 hours has all offers cancelled and can’t sell to players for 3 days.
Selling skins on DMarket
Pick a skin and press “Sell”. If a Target exists for it, “Sell now” sells it at that price at once. Otherwise list it at a recommended, lowest, recent-average or custom price, by sending it to a DMarket bot (accept the Steam trade within 10 minutes) or Face2Face from your inventory; the “You’ll get” field shows the amount after the fee. Offers untouched for six months are taken down. Sale money goes to your balance in US dollars; Face2Face sellers are paid once the buyer has the item. The balance menu keeps a separate “Trade protection” line, and buyers are told that an item under Steam Trade Protection may still be rolled back by its previous owner, with the purchase refunded to the DMarket balance. New CS2 items stay invisible to third parties for 10 days, so they can’t be listed before that. More options: where to sell CS2 skins for real money.
Rules worth knowing
- 18+. Russia and Belarus are excluded: no trading, deposits or withdrawals, and their accounts are frozen with the assets inside. Residents of US-sanctioned countries and people on sanctions lists can be refused.
- Top-ups only buy skins. Deposited money can’t be withdrawn; only money earned from sales can, and the price difference from an exchange is non-withdrawable too.
- Gambling is a red flag. The terms list “engages, facilitates or advertises online and offline gambling activities” among suspicious activities that let DMarket freeze an account or its balance.
- Steam side. You need Steam Guard, a public inventory and a trade URL; DMarket declines any trade Steam would put on hold. Accounts unused for 12 months can be suspended, after 18 months closed.
DMarket deposits and withdrawals
Deposits start at $1 and usually take minutes, up to 48 hours. The Balance page shows your country’s methods, fees and limits, out of 40+ in all; the pages name Visa and Mastercard, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Skrill, Neteller, Payoneer, wire transfer and local methods such as iDeal and Przelewy24. Withdrawals start at $5. PayPal (paid through Tipalti), Payoneer and Skrill take up to 48 hours; bank card, wire and SEPA transfers up to 7 working days, cards often at once. The terms allow up to 8 business days, or 9 above $99.99. DMarket says it adds no fee of its own on PayPal withdrawals; the payment system’s fee depends on your country.
DMarket KYC: when it asks for ID
You can sign up with Steam, email, Twitter, Twitch, MetaMask or Life Beyond. KYC comes only with payment methods that need it: a card deposit always needs it once, and a withdrawal may. You upload photos of a national ID or passport (a driver’s licence only for US citizens), a selfie holding it next to a note with “DMarket” and the date, and a proof of address under 180 days old. Review takes up to 24 hours. The terms also allow AML checks at any time, with a tax ID, source of funds and extra documents, and an account can be blocked until they are done.
Is DMarket legit?
DMarket is a marketplace, not a gambling site: no cases or bets. We read its public pages on 22 October 2026 but didn’t buy or sell.
- Licence. None stated or needed for a marketplace. The terms name DMarket Inc. (Delaware, no. 7914588), Mythical, Inc. (Delaware, no. 6843771) and Mythical Games, Unipessoal, Lda (Lisbon, no. 517097346); the privacy policy counts DMarket among Mythical’s subsidiaries and affiliates. Mythical Games announced the acquisition on 25 January 2023 and says DMarket was founded in 2017. Delaware law applies.
- Fairness. Sellers set their own prices and see the fee before listing. A purchase under Steam Trade Protection is refunded to your balance if the previous owner rolls it back. The FAQ shows how to recognise a real DMarket bot: name, logo, level 2 or higher and a full inventory.
- Where it’s blocked. Its terms exclude Russia and Belarus. It isn’t on any of the regulator blocklists we checked.
- Your balance. Kept in US dollars; only money from sales can be withdrawn, and the balance of a terminated account may be forfeited.
- Reviews. On Trustpilot, DMarket has a TrustScore of 4.0 out of 5 from 22,116 reviews, and 15% of them give one star (checked 22 October 2026). Trustpilot says DMarket asks its customers for reviews.
- Compared with other sites. Legit CS2 skin trading sites: licences, regulator bans and Trustpilot scores side by side.
