What’s on this list

Every site here lets you deposit CS2 skins straight from your Steam inventory. The sites come from our main list, in the same order (how we rank), and the list keeps itself up to date: a new site that takes CS2 skins joins it, and a site that stops taking them leaves. Each card shows what our code gives, the licence and the countries the site turns away, from the same record as the site’s code page.

How a skin deposit works

  1. Link Steam. You sign in through Steam on the site, or link your Steam account to it, and add your Steam trade URL so the site can send you trade offers.
  2. Pick your skins. The deposit window shows what the site will credit for each skin. Every site prices skins its own way, so the same skin can be worth more on one site than on another.
  3. Check and accept the trade offer. Make sure the items are the ones you picked and the offer comes from the site you’re on, then confirm it in the Steam Mobile app.
  4. Get your balance. The site adds the value to your balance. How you can withdraw (skins, crypto or both) depends on the site, so check its cashier before you deposit.

Valve’s Trade Protection: the 7-day rule

Since July 2025, CS2 items received in a trade are Trade Protected for 7 days. This is what Valve’s rules say (we checked Steam Support on 18 October 2026):

  • CS2 items move straight away, with no trade hold, whatever security your Steam account has.
  • For 7 days after a trade you can play with the items, but you can’t pass them on to anyone, move them into a Storage Unit, use them up or modify them.
  • Within those 7 days a trade can be reversed. A reversal undoes every Trade Protected trade from the last 7 days, sends the items back to their previous owners and bars the account that reversed from trading and the Community Market for 30 days. Steam Support can’t lift that ban.

For you this means two things. Skins you withdraw from a site stay locked in your inventory for 7 days before you can trade or sell them. And because a deposit trade can be reversed during those 7 days too, a site may limit what you can do with skins deposited in that window, so read its deposit and withdrawal pages before you count on a quick cash-out.

Keep your Steam account safe

  • Use the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator, and confirm a trade in the app only after checking the items and who you’re trading with.
  • Sign in through Steam only on the site itself, never on a page you reached from a chat message, a comment or an ad.
  • Never share your Steam password, your Steam Guard codes or your Steam Web API key.

Before you deposit

  • The law where you live. Several countries ban or block skin sites. Our guide to what regulators have done lists them.
  • Licence. Each site’s code page shows the licence the site names and whether we found it active in the regulator’s register.
  • Your country. If a site doesn’t accept players from your country, its card says “Not available in your region” and our link won’t send you there.
  • Identity checks. Some sites ask for ID before a withdrawal. The code page says what the site’s own rules say about it.
  • Your budget. Skins have real money value. Decide what you can afford to lose before you deposit. 18+ only.
