We don’t have our own SkinBaron code or referral link, so there is no DAKEbits promo code here; the button opens skinbaron.de. SkinBaron is a CS2 skin marketplace run by SkinBaron GmbH in Hof, Germany: players sell skins to each other, and sellers can cash out to a bank. Its blog says it has run since 2016.
What SkinBaron offers without a code
No sign-up bonus or free credit. Listing is free, and SkinBaron says prices average 30% below the Steam Community Market. Buyers collect BonusClub cashback: a month’s purchases earn a voucher the next month, €2 from €100, €5 from €250, €10 from €400 and €15 from €800. It expires at that month’s end; private purchases don’t count.
How promo codes work at SkinBaron
SkinBaron’s own promo codes are public and lower its fees rather than add money. On 19 October 2026 its pages named three:
- ILOVESKINS: 8% selling fee and no marketplace fee, until 31 December 2026, 23:59 CET, unless SkinBaron ends it early.
- NOWAIT: “Only 7% sales fee”, from 13 to 26 October 2026, 23:59 CET.
- BONUSCLUB: “0% marketplace fee”.
When buying, type the code into the box below the payment methods at checkout. When selling, enter it while creating the offer. Selling-fee codes only work on items under €999 at the standard 15% fee, never on private sales. Voucher codes with a money value come only from partners such as FACEIT or events and can’t be cashed out. None of these codes is ours.
What we saw on the site
- Instant listings. A banner says trade-protected items are now “Instantly visible to buyers”.
- Discount labels. Offers showed −50% to −64% against a Steam-based price, and each card shows the wear value.
Fees
- Selling: 15% of the sale price, 2% for CS2 items worth €999 or more; private sales cost half.
- Buying: direct payment by card, PayPal, Klarna and similar adds 5% + €0.35; paying from balance or a voucher doesn’t.
- Top-ups are free by SEPA transfer, otherwise 5% + €0.35. Withdrawals are free from SkinBaron’s side.
Selling skins
Only residents of 35 countries can sell or top up: the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Monaco, the US, Canada and Australia. Everyone else can only buy. SkinBaron’s price suggestion is 78% of the Steam Market’s 7-day average. Items you send are under Steam’s Trade Protection for 7–8 days: they can be listed at once, but sale money is held until the protection ends and SkinBaron has checked the trade wasn’t reversed.
Rules worth knowing
- 18+, one account per person.
- Don’t park money. The terms say unused credit should be withdrawn within 30 days; accounts inactive for a year without bank details can be charged €10 a month.
- Reversing a trade on Steam brings a 30-day Steam trade ban, and SkinBaron freezes the seller’s account.
SkinBaron deposits and withdrawals
Pay for a cart directly or top up by SEPA transfer, card, Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL and more, depending on your country. No crypto is listed. Withdrawals go to a bank account only, from €5: SEPA, or an international wire for the US, Canada and Australia. They leave within 24 hours and take up to 3 business days, or 7 by wire.
SkinBaron KYC: when it asks for ID
You sign in with Steam. Under the German Money Laundering Act, SkinBaron collects your name, address, date of birth and citizenship and shares them with Adyen, its payment provider. Once your sales and balance pass €1,000 in total you must upload an ID document, and above €5,000 a bank statement.
Is SkinBaron legit?
SkinBaron is a German company with a legal notice, and a marketplace, not a gambling site. We read its public pages on 19 October 2026 but didn’t buy or sell.
- Licence. None stated. Operator: SkinBaron GmbH, Hof (Amtsgericht Hof, HRB 5591).
- Fairness. Sellers set prices and SkinBaron acts as escrow. Payments run through Adyen N.V., which SkinBaron says is a licensed Dutch financial institution; SkinBaron holds no customer funds.
- Where it’s blocked. It isn’t on any of the regulator block lists we checked, and its terms name no banned countries.
- Your balance. Sale proceeds can be withdrawn to a bank; voucher and cashback credit can’t.
- Reviews. On Trustpilot, SkinBaron has a TrustScore of 4.5 out of 5 from 4,233 reviews, and 7% of them give one star (checked 19 October 2026). Trustpilot says SkinBaron asks its customers for reviews.
