We don’t have our own CS.MONEY code or referral link, so there is no DAKEbits promo code here; the button opens cs.money. CS.MONEY is a CS2 skin trading site with two modes: Trade, where you swap skins with the site’s bots or buy from them, and Market, where players sell to each other or to the bots and cash out to a Visa card or PayPal. Its home page says it launched in 2016; its terms name CS Virtual Trade Ltd in Limassol, Cyprus, and G2G Marketplace Limited in Hong Kong. The site blocks our server, so we read archived copies of its terms, FAQ and blog on 22 October 2026.
What a CS.MONEY code gets you
A CS.MONEY promo code is a cashback code for Trade mode. By its Promotional Code Terms of 22 September 2026, a code works once, on your first purchase from the bots, and returns 5% of that purchase: the purchase must be at least $1 and the cashback is capped at $5. The cashback is promotional balance, credited after the purchase completes; it can’t be withdrawn or turned into cash. There is no sign-up bonus, no free skin and no code for the Market. We have no code to give, and none of CS.MONEY’s pages shows one that is current.
How CS.MONEY promo codes work
- Who can use one. Only a user who has never bought anything in Trade mode. One code per user and per purchase, never combined with another discount, bonus or referral benefit.
- How to enter it. Apply the code at checkout before you submit the purchase; it can’t be added afterwards, and a failed purchase can still count as the code being used. If a code is lost to a technical error on CS.MONEY’s side, you have 7 days to tell support.
- Campaign limits. Each code can carry its own expiry date, number of uses, countries or traffic source, first come, first served. Codes go out through ads, social media, blog posts, influencers, affiliates and email; the 2024 Battle Pass event hid codes in CS.MONEY’s posts, and nothing says they still work.
- Referral codes. Its pages describe no referral programme. The “Partnership” entry in its FAQ is for websites and streamers selling advertising, by email, with audience size and CPM.
- Older perks. FAQ copies from 2024 described a 2–10% cashback on tagged Trade-mode items; the 2026 FAQ no longer lists it. The terms still allow a top-up bonus, but the blog of April 2024 says top-up bonuses were removed and prices lowered.
What CS.MONEY offers
- CS2 only. The terms call it a marketplace of Counter-Strike 2 items; the home page counts 1,000,000+ skins. No Rust, Dota 2 or TF2.
- Trade mode. Instant swaps with the bots, paid with your skins or a Trade balance that can never be withdrawn. Trade-locked items you buy wait in a virtual inventory until Steam’s lock ends. A Steam-wallet top-up through CS.MONEY costs 14%.
- Market mode. Player-to-player sales at your own price. The skin stays in your inventory until it sells; the deal runs through CS.MONEY’s browser extension (Chrome or Yandex) or its app with your Steam API key and session cookies. Buyers pay with a Market balance, get items without a trade hold and can cancel after 30 minutes if the seller is silent.
- Instant Sell. Selling to the bots at a fixed price with no commission: up to 10 items per deal, 15 minutes to accept. In September and October 2026 the sale pages carried a “+8% for Instant Sell” banner.
- Tools. iOS and Android apps, an Antiscam extension, a 3D viewer, a wiki, 20 languages, 24/7 chat.
CS.MONEY fees
- Trade mode: the commission sits inside the bot prices: a basic 7% on your items, a trade-lock markup of 0–13% on bot items depending on how long until they unlock, and overpays for rare stickers, patterns and floats. Prices come from CS.MONEY’s own system, not Steam.
- Market: 5% on sales under $1,000 (at least $0.01) and 3% from $1,000, charged only on sales. Instant Sell: 0%.
- Deposits and cashout: no CS.MONEY fee either way; the payment system’s fee applies, on cashouts “usually not more than 2%”.
- Penalties: a seller or buyer who doesn’t finish a Market deal can be blocked for 7 days, and repeat failures cost a 4% fine. Two years without a transaction makes an account Inactive and, 30 days after notice, costs $1 a month while the balance is positive. Fees aren’t refunded.
Selling skins on CS.MONEY
Log in with Steam, open Market → Sell, allow the use of your Steam API key and session cookies, set a price, press “Put up for sale” and install the extension. When a buyer appears you have 12 hours to create the deal and send the trade; miss it and your store goes “Offline” until you switch back. The money is credited when the trade is confirmed, but since Steam’s trade-reversal update CS.MONEY holds it for 8 days, one day longer than Steam Trade Protection. Instant Sell items carry a lightning bolt: sell them to a bot and the money lands on an Instant Sell balance within 15 minutes, spendable at once on items marked “Instant delivery” and withdrawable after the same 8 days. Selling to the bots in Trade mode gives Trade balance, which only buys more skins. More options: where to sell CS2 skins for real money.
Rules worth knowing
- Age and countries. The terms require legal age or a guardian’s approval; the FAQ lets you verify from 16. No country list: the terms exclude only “high-risk or sanctioned” areas and sanctioned persons, and the Cashout page tells you if cashout isn’t offered where you live.
- Two balances. Trade balance and Market balance don’t mix, and neither top-ups nor Trade balance can be withdrawn. An unused top-up can be refunded within 14 days, except through Open Banking, Skrill, Neteller, PIX, Boleto, Lotérica, Alipay Plus or crypto, which are final.
- Reversals. Steam lets either side reverse a CS2 trade within 7 days, at the price of a 30-day trade ban; cashing out on CS.MONEY and then reversing the trade brings penalties up to a permanent ban.
- Steam side. You need a public inventory, a trade link and Steam Guard, with no trade ban. Bought trade-locked items wait in the virtual inventory; 45 days after they unlock, uncollected items are refunded to the Trade balance.
CS.MONEY deposits and withdrawals
A card top-up runs from $1 to $5,000 and lands in about 10 minutes, in US dollars whatever currency you pay in. The home page names bank cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and crypto, plus local methods such as BLIK and Pix; the 2025 patch notes add USDT, BTC and ETH for Trade-mode top-ups. Withdrawals come only from Market balance earned by selling, after KYC, to a Visa card or a PayPal wallet in your own name: minimum $10, maximum $1,000 a day. The terms say withdrawals are typically processed within 24 hours on business days and can take up to 7 business days; the Cashout page says usually 1–2 hours, with no processing from Friday 12:00 UTC to Monday 01:00 UTC. Sale money waits 8 days first. The exception is instant cashout: once your Instant Sell total passes $70, you can withdraw 15% of that total straight away, up to $300 per 8 days.
CS.MONEY KYC: when it asks for ID
You sign in with Steam, and the FAQ calls verification “not obligatory” for trading. The terms require KYC before any withdrawal and whenever the anti-fraud systems flag an account. The check runs in the Personal area under Security: choose the issuing country, upload an ID document and record a video of up to 20 seconds turning your head. One FAQ entry says it usually takes about 30 minutes, another up to 24 hours. The terms let CS.MONEY ask for more: a selfie with the ID, a photo of your bank card partly covered, a phone number, a utility bill, and source-of-funds papers such as bank statements or pay slips. Your details must match the owner of the card or PayPal account, or the cashout is refused. KYC files are kept for three months.
Has CS.MONEY been hacked?
Yes, by its own account. On 26 August 2022 its blog reported that a hacker had stolen users’ skins through an exploit that took the bots’ mobile-authenticator files, that the hacker had been found and half of the skins returned. In November 2022 CS.MONEY valued the stolen skins at $2.7 million and began paying compensation in batches; its refund post, last updated in October 2024, lists eight payouts totalling 1,050,204 out of 2,087,206 after a recalculation. The Market was also paused after Steam changed trading, in spring 2024 and again in 2025, and relaunched in September 2025 with the 8-day hold.
Is CS.MONEY legit?
CS.MONEY is a marketplace, not a gambling site: its terms say it is “not related to online gambling”, and there are no cases or bets. We read archived copies of its pages on 22 October 2026 but didn’t buy or sell.
- Licence. None stated or needed. Operators: CS Virtual Trade Ltd, Limassol, Cyprus (HE 389299, shown as registered in the Cyprus company register on 22 October 2026), for EU users in Trade mode and everyone in Market mode, and G2G Marketplace Limited, Hong Kong (no. 3064044), for Trade-mode users elsewhere. Cyprus or Hong Kong law applies.
- Fairness. Bot prices and the commission are set by CS.MONEY and shown on the item page; Market sellers set their own prices. The terms say the money behind Market balances is held in escrow by third-party providers and cap CS.MONEY’s liability at $1,000. Its real bots are listed in a “Trade bots” section, at Steam level 25 or higher.
- Where it’s blocked. It isn’t on any of the regulator block lists we checked, and its terms name no banned countries; cashout is simply not offered in some.
- Your balance. Kept in US dollars. Only sale money from Market mode can leave the site, after KYC and the 8-day hold; two years without a transaction starts a $1 monthly fee.
- Reviews. On Trustpilot, CS.MONEY has a TrustScore of 4.7 out of 5 from 9,239 reviews, and 4% of them give one star (checked 22 October 2026). Trustpilot says CS.MONEY asks its customers for reviews.
- Compared with other sites. Legit CS2 skin trading sites: licences, regulator bans and Trustpilot scores side by side.
