Sites ask for ID at different moments: at sign-up, before the first withdrawal, above a set amount, or only when a risk check flags the account. Here is what each site’s own rules say, side by side.

What KYC means
KYC (“know your customer”) is an identity check: a photo ID, often a selfie, and sometimes proof of address or of where your money comes from. Licensed casinos run it under anti-money-laundering rules, and it also proves you are old enough to play. Sites that run as sweepstakes, without a gambling licence, check identity too, mostly when you redeem winnings.
How to keep a withdrawal from getting stuck
- Read your site’s row above before you deposit, so you know at what point it will ask.
- Sign up with your real name and date of birth, and pay with methods in your own name. A mismatch between your account, your ID and your card holds up withdrawals.
- Keep a clear photo of your ID and a recent utility bill or bank statement ready: several sites on our list ask for one of them.
- Don’t play from a country the site blocks, with or without a VPN. Casino terms forbid it, and a proof-of-address check shows where you live.
Questions
Are there CS2 or crypto sites with no KYC?
Some sites on our list say they check ID only when a risk check flags an account or above a set amount, and a few mention no ID checks in their terms at all. Many others keep the right to ask at any time. Plan for an ID check before your first big withdrawal rather than count on never seeing one.
Do skin marketplaces check ID?
It varies. Some ask only for instant payouts or when their anti-fraud system flags an account; others run a one-time ID and selfie check. Each marketplace’s row above says what its own rules say.
Why does a site want a selfie or a bank statement?
The selfie shows that the ID is yours, and a utility bill or bank statement shows your address. Some sites also ask where your money comes from (source of funds) for large deposits or withdrawals.
Rules change. Each row shows what the site’s terms said when we last checked it, and the date is on the site’s code page. If a site asks you for more than its row says, tell us through our contact page. For bonuses, wagering and payment methods side by side, see the comparison table.
