CSGOEmpire and Duel.com have the same founder: according to Wikipedia, Ossi Ketola started CSGOEmpire in 2016 and Duel in 2025. The two sites are made for different players, though. Here is how they differ, from their own terms and from our accounts on both.
The short answer
- Pick CSGOEmpire if you play with CS2 skins: roulette, coinflip, cases and case battles, match betting and a skin marketplace between players. Our code xcod gets new players a free gift case.
- Pick Duel if you play with crypto and care about the odds: its own games have 0% house edge, and there are no bonuses at all. Our code dakebits links your account to us and adds nothing else.
A free case or no bonus at all
CSGOEmpire gives new players, or players who haven’t bet for 30 days, one gift case worth 0.01 to 2,050 coins, one per IP address. Cash and crypto deposits must be wagered once before a crypto withdrawal.
Duel doesn’t run sign-up or deposit bonuses. Its argument is that the house edge you pay on every bet costs more than a bonus gives back, so it removes the edge instead: Duel Originals are marked 100% RTP. Our Duel page explains what that means in practice.
Games
CSGOEmpire is built around skins. Roulette pays 2x on CT or T and 14x on the dice slot; cases are sorted into low, medium and high risk; there are case battles, coinflip, match betting on esports and slots on the side.
Duel is a crypto casino: its own Dice, Blackjack, Plinko, Crash, Mines, Keno, Limbo, Video Poker and more, slots and live games from other studios, sports betting, and Duel Arena, where you play other people at 8 Ball, Poker, Tetris, Wordle and other games.
Payments
CSGOEmpire takes CS2 skins peer-to-peer and eleven cryptocurrencies with no minimum, plus cash methods that depend on your region; withdrawals go out as skins, crypto or cash through Swapped. Duel’s wallet takes Tether, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, USD Coin and more, and cash through Visa, Mastercard, Skrill and about 28 other options; we didn’t see a skins option there.
Licences and where they work
- CSGOEmpire: Moonrail Limited B.V., licence OGL/2024/1183/0869 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, shown as active in the regulator’s certificate.
- Duel: Immortal Snail LLC, licence ALSI-202411026-FI1 from Anjouan, shown as valid by the regulator’s licence validator on 18 October 2026.
- Both are closed to players in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany and the Netherlands, among others; Duel also blocks Spain. The full lists are on our CSGOEmpire and Duel pages.
Identity checks
CSGOEmpire usually asks for ID and proof of address after about 4,500 coins withdrawn in crypto, or earlier if its security checks flag the account. Duel lets you sign up without an email and can ask for ID before a withdrawal.
Both are for adults only. Set a budget before you play, and never chase losses.
