Polymarket has no promo code and no sign-up bonus. Our link records you as our referral; you get nothing extra. Polymarket is a crypto prediction market: you trade shares in the outcome of sports and esports matches, elections and other events with other users, not against a house.
What the link gets you
Our link saved “DakeBits” as the referrer; the sign-up window had no code field. Polymarket’s referral program pays the referrer 10% of the net trading fees a new user generates in their first 30 days, out of the fees Polymarket keeps; the new user gets no bonus.
How to sign up with our link
- Open Polymarket with our button and press Sign up.
- Continue with Google, email, Telegram, Steam or a crypto wallet such as MetaMask or Phantom.
- Open Deposit and check the network and minimum before you send.
- Read a market’s rules, then buy Yes or No shares.
What we saw on the site
- Prices are chances. A share costs 0 to 100 cents and pays $1 if its outcome happens, nothing if not. “No change” at the October Fed decision stood at 85%.
- Sports and esports with moneyline, spread and total markets; esports had CS2 (11 live), League of Legends, Dota 2 and Valorant.
- Short crypto markets such as “BTC Up or Down 5m”, and sports Combos where every leg has to win.
- Perps: leveraged trading on 89 stocks, crypto assets, indices and commodities, “up to 50x leverage”.
Before you trade
- You can lose the whole stake. Buy Yes at 65¢ and the event doesn’t happen: the share is worth nothing. Trades are final.
- Selling early needs a buyer at your price.
- The rules, not the title, decide how a market resolves.
- Fees. Orders that fill at once pay a fee that peaks at 50¢: $1.25 per 100 sports shares, $1.75 for crypto. Resting orders and geopolitics markets pay nothing.
- 18+, no VPNs. Dodging a country block can get the account limited to closing positions.
Polymarket deposits and withdrawals
Your balance is pUSD, Polymarket’s token on Polygon, backed by USDC. The deposit window on our account offered Transfer Crypto (no limit, instant), Connect Exchange (Bybit, Coinbase, Binance, Kraken) and a Use Cash tab we didn’t open. Supported coins include BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, POL, TRX, USDT and USDC; the minimum was $2 on most networks, $3 on Ethereum.
To withdraw, open Portfolio → Withdraw and enter an address, token and network. Polymarket says withdrawals are instant and it charges no deposit or withdrawal fees; your exchange may.
Polymarket KYC: when it asks for ID
Signing up needs no ID. The terms let Polymarket ask for more information at any time, such as proof you aren’t in a restricted country, and cut access without it. The privacy policy mentions a passport, driving licence or national ID card.
Is Polymarket legit?
Polymarket.com is run by Adventure One QSS Inc. (Panama), and its footer says this international site is not regulated by the CFTC. US residents are sent to Polymarket US (polymarket.us), a separate product run by QCX LLC, which the CFTC lists as a designated contract market. Five European regulators block polymarket.com.
- Licence. None stated for polymarket.com.
- Fairness. Most markets settle through the UMA Optimistic Oracle: a result proposed with a $750 bond can be disputed within 2 hours, and disputes can go to a vote of UMA token holders. Polymarket says it can’t reverse a final result.
- Where it’s blocked. Polymarket’s help centre lists 40 countries, including the US, the UK, France and Germany; its docs and terms add South Korea, Hungary and Slovenia.
- Your balance. Polymarket says it never holds your funds; you can export your wallet’s private key.
- Reviews. On Trustpilot, Polymarket has a TrustScore of 1.3 out of 5 from 653 reviews, and 90% of them give one star (checked 19 October 2026).
Where regulators block it
