Our Key-Drop code is DAKEBITS. Key-Drop’s help centre says a promo code entered in the deposit window adds 20% to your next top-up. Key-Drop is a CS2 case-opening site that says it has been running since 2017, with cases, case battles, an upgrader and giveaways. We signed in and went through the site on our own account on 18 October 2026.
What the code gets you
According to Key-Drop’s help article “What is a Promo Code?”, a valid code gives 20% extra on your next top-up, and you have to enter it again before every top-up. If you have never used a promo code there, you also get a small one-off credit: the help centre says $1 (a limited offer, not for every account), while the sign-in and deposit windows on our account showed $0.50. We typed DAKEBITS into the Boost Balance box, but our screenshot was taken before pressing Apply, so it doesn’t show the code being confirmed.
How to use the code
- Open Key-Drop with the button on this page and log in with Steam, confirming that you are 18 or older.
- Open the deposit window, type DAKEBITS into the Boost Balance field and press Apply.
- Pick a payment method and an amount (at least $2.00) and check the “You will receive” total before you pay.
- Enter the code again before your next top-up.
What we saw on the site
- Cases from $0.25 up. Each case lists its contents and drop chances: in the $280 Feel The Dragon case, the AWP Dragon Lore had a 0.31% chance.
- 25 daily cases, each once every 24 hours. On our new level-1 account one was open; the others need level 50, 60, 80 and higher. You earn 1 XP for every cent spent on cases, battles, the upgrader and contracts.
- Case battles for two to four players or two teams, including free battles you join with tickets: one ticket for every $2 topped up at once.
- Giveaways with a minimum deposit to join: $10, $5, $2 or nothing, depending on the tier.
- Provably fair. Key-Drop says every opening can be checked with the seeds in your profile. Our provably fair guide explains how.
Before you deposit
- No gambling licence is stated. The terms name AKONTES LTD (Cyprus, reg. HE 481554) as the service provider and don’t mention a licence.
- Your balance isn’t cash. Wallet credits have no real-money value, can’t be refunded, and all sales are final.
- 18+, one account per person. The terms don’t list blocked countries; you must follow the laws where you live.
- Safety tools: deposit limits, time-outs from 24 hours to 7 days and self-exclusion up to permanent, which only support can end early.
Key-Drop deposits and withdrawals
The deposit window offered Visa and Mastercard plus about 20 other methods, including Skrill, Apple Pay and Google Pay; Pay by Skins with CS2 skins; crypto; gift cards bought with PayPal or Paysafecard; Sofort, PagSeguro and Zen; and Blik. ZEN payments are not accepted in Singapore, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland. With Pay by Skins, Steam’s trade protection can hold part of the credit for 8 days. Withdrawals are CS2 skins sent by Steam trade offer, once you have topped up at least $2 in total. Key-Drop doesn’t allow cash redemptions.
Key-Drop KYC: when it asks for ID
Key-Drop checks identity when an account, transaction or payment method looks suspicious. It can ask for your name, date of birth, address and proof of it, an ID document, a photo of you holding it and a photo of your bank card with part of it covered. Skin withdrawals can be held until the check is done.
Is Key-Drop legit?
Key-Drop is a CS2 case-opening site that says it has been running since 2017, but it doesn’t state a gambling licence. We signed in and went through the site on our own account on 18 October 2026. Several countries block it as illegal gambling.
- Licence. None stated. The terms name AKONTES LTD (Cyprus, reg. HE 481554) as the service provider.
- Fairness. Each case lists its drop chances, and Key-Drop says every opening can be checked with the seeds in your profile.
- Where it’s blocked. Denmark, Czechia and Poland block it. In Türkiye, prosecutors detained 11 influencers in June 2025 over promoting it.
- Your balance. Wallet credits have no real-money value, and you withdraw CS2 skins only, not cash.
Where regulators block it
Denmark’s gambling authority won a court order to block key-drop.com and keydrop.com in March 2021. Czechia has listed key-drop.com among illegal gambling sites since September 2024, and Poland’s Ministry of Finance lists it among blocked gambling domains. In Türkiye, Istanbul prosecutors detained 11 influencers in June 2025 over promoting Key-Drop as illegal gambling. We don’t show Key-Drop’s offer in these countries.
